Aon’s middle-market unit hires former IMA risk control specialists

NFP, Aon’s middle-market unit, said Tuesday it has hired two former IMA Financial Group Inc. risk control leaders to its construction and infrastructure practice.

Jake Lyon joins NFP as senior vice president, risk control advisory leader, and Darren Beard joins as vice president, risk control transportation. Both are based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Previously, Mr. Lyon was managing director, risk control, at IMA, and Mr. Beard was director of transportation risk control.

Both joined IMA from Lockton Cos. LLC.
