Applied Systems enhances commercial lines solution for Canadian Brokers

Applied Systems, a global provider of cloud-based software for the insurance industry, has announced new enhancements to its commercial lines solution in Applied Epic for the Canadian market.

The updates aim to give brokers greater choice, speed, and flexibility in growing their commercial books of business by unifying instant quote requests and email submissions into a single seamless workflow, while also expanding support across a broader range of industry segments.

With the unified quoting workflow, brokers can now submit for both instant rates and email submissions directly from a single marketing dashboard embedded within Applied Epic. This eliminates system switching, duplicate data entry across insurer portals, and fragmented workflows.

The expanded business segments now include Farming, Education Services, Health Services, Hospitality, Manufacturing/Processing Services, Member Organisation Services, and Warehousing and Wholesale Services. These are in addition to the Business & Professional Services, Contractors and Retail and Real Estate segments already available in Applied Epic.
