Applied Underwriters launches MGA

Applied Underwriters on Monday announced the launch of Innovation Risk, a managing general agent.

The unit will focus on casualty, accident and life insurance in the United States and the European Union, the company said.

Omaha, Nebraska-based Applied Underwriters launched United Risk, a separate MGA and managing general underwriter, in 2023. United Risk offers 28 MGA and MGU programs and has more than 250 staff, according to the insurer.
