Arch Insurance International names Tim Chapman Head of Construction

Arch Insurance International has announced the appointment of Tim Chapman as Head of Construction, a newly created leadership position, effective immediately.

In this role, Chapman will be responsible for shaping and expanding Arch’s global construction portfolio.

His remit includes growing the company’s open-market proposition and providing insurance solutions for large-scale and technically complex construction projects worldwide.

He will be based in London and will report to Jake Gibbs, Head of Marine, Energy & Construction.

Chapman brings over 25 years of industry experience and is well-regarded in the construction insurance market. He joins Arch from SCOR, where he held the position of Global Segment Leader for Civil Works and EMEA Head of Construction.

His earlier roles include Senior Engineering Underwriter at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he specialised in major infrastructure risks.
