Arch Insurance promotes Chris Fairs as Head of Agency Management, AMAL

Arch Insurance International, a part of the global Arch Capital Group and a provider of specialty insurance solutions across multiple lines, has promoted Chris Fairs to Head of Agency Management at Arch Managing Agency Limited (AMAL), effective immediately.

In his new role, Fairs is responsible for leading the approval process of Syndicate business plans and Lloyd’s submissions. He is based in London and reports to Tom Rivers, Chief Risk Officer.

He will support and guide the Arch Lloyd’s-related business and Syndicates 2012 and 1955, which are managed by AMAL.

Fairs brings extensive experience across all aspects of the Lloyd’s regulatory and compliance environment. Most recently, he was the Agency Manager for AMAL, having joined the company in 2022.

Prior to this, he was Group Company Secretary at Argenta Private Capital and held various regulatory and technical roles at Lloyd’s.
