Argo names ex-RLI leader president of surety division

Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. on Tuesday named former RLI Surety executive Greg Chilson president of Argo Surety, effective Sept. 1.

Mr. Chilson has served as a strategic adviser to the business since May, an Argo statement said.

He is based in Houston and will report to Jessica Snyder, Argo’s president of U.S. insurance.

Mr. Chilson was most recently vice president of RLI Surety, part of RLI Corp.

Argo earlier this year reorganized its surety operations.

Argo continues its relationship with Trisura relating to surety activities, a spokesman confirmed in an email.
