Ariel Re announces promotion of 13 staff in Bermuda & London offices

Global reinsurer Ariel Re, has announced the promotion of 13 staff in its Bermuda and London offices, a move that underlines its mission to become an ‘academy firm’, which will support and develop talent in the reinsurance industry.

The new promotions cover a range of roles from software development to underwriting, accounting, portfolio management, analytics and actuarial.

Former Senior Analyst – Portfolio Management Brian Darling has been appointed AVP, Portfolio Management. Cameron Cooper was promoted from AVP, Pricing Actuary to VP actuary and Catarina Correia to Reinsurance Analyst.

Other promotions include Connor Lockett who has been appointed Software Developer; Emily Leitch as SVP, Head of Marine and Specialty Lines; JayLynn Hines, Underwriter, Cyber; and Katie Dilke, VP, Head of Non-Cat Analytics and Actuarial Pricing.

Meghan Sherwin has also been promoted to Reinsurance Analyst; Morgan Siese was named Human Resources Generalist; Neil Pohlman appointed AVP, Portfolio Management; promoted to Roman Sklyar, AVP, Portfolio Management as well as Ruhal Miah to Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management; and Sophia Marshall to Assistant Manager, Operations.
