Ascot adds former Willis exec as head of management liability

Ascot Group said Friday it has hired former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Mitch McBain as senior vice president, head of management liability, based in Bermuda.

He will report to Ian Thompson, CEO, Bermuda, and replaces Peter Horrobin, who left the company earlier this year.

Mr. McBain will oversee underwriting and manage Ascot’s professional and management liability insurance portfolios in Bermuda.

He was previously head of U.K. and international for FINEX D&O at Willis.
