Ascot hires former Selective exec Mark Wilcox as group CFO

Ascot Group Ltd. Thursday named former Selective Insurance Group Inc. executive Mark Wilcox as its new group chief financial officer, effective Nov. 8.

Mr. Wilcox will be responsible for leading Ascot’s global finance organization and capital strategy, including financial planning and analysis, tax and treasury functions, an Ascot statement said.

He will be based in Ascot’s Stamford, Connecticut, office and report to Group CEO and President Jonathan Zaffino.

Mr. Wilcox was most recently executive vice president and CFO of Selective.
