Ascot unveils miscellaneous professional liability unit

Ascot Group Ltd. on Tuesday launched a miscellaneous professional liability unit providing comprehensive coverage for a range of professional service firms.

Led by Todd Cusano, senior vice president, professional liability, the unit provides miscellaneous professional liability coverage as a standalone product on a primary and excess basis, Ascot said.

The miscellaneous professional liability policy can also include coverage for cyber liability, media liability and technology E&O.

Limits of up to $5 million are available, according to an email from a spokesman.

“Professional service firms today are facing ever-evolving exposures set in a climate of escalating court settlements and increasing damages,” Mr. Cusano said in the statement.
