Aspen adds former MS Amlin exec as group COO

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Friday it has hired former MS Amlin AG executive Rob Houghton as group chief operating officer, effective Jan. 3.

He succeeds Mike Cain, who is leaving the Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer in early 2022.

Mr. Houghton will be based in London and join the group executive committee. His responsibilities will include overseeing IT strategy.

Mr. Houghton was most recently CEO of MS Amlin Business Services and prior to that group COO of MS Amlin.
