Aspen announces promotions

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. Monday promoted Christian Dunleavy to group president and Mark Pickering to group chief financial officer and treasurer.

Mr. Dunleavy, most recently group chief underwriting officer, also will serve as CEO, Aspen Bermuda Ltd. He joined Aspen in 2015 as global head of property catastrophe reinsurance and was promoted to group CUO in 2022.

Mr. Pickering is stepping down as CEO, Aspen Bermuda Ltd., to accept the CFO position. He joined Aspen in September 2015 as group treasurer and was appointed group chief capital management officer in 2021.

Mr. Pickering succeeds Chris Coleman, who will be leaving the company at the end of the month, according to an Aspen statement.
