Aspen, Ryan agree to trading relationship

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Thursday it has entered into an agreement with Ryan Specialty Group to support a diverse international portfolio of delegated underwriting authority business.
The company said, effective Jan. 1, Aspen has joined seven programs from Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers’ MGU portfolio.
An Aspen spokeswoman said in a statement that JEM and Technical Risk Underwriters are two new insurance programs, both written by Aspen U.S., and StartPoint, RSG Sweden and RSG Denmark are underwritten by Aspen Syndicate 4711.
She said among its existing insurance programs, Aspen has a longstanding relationship with WKFC Underwriting Managers.
It is also a reinsurer for Ryan Specialty Group.
