AssuredPartners buys Massachusetts agency

AssuredPartners Inc. said Thursday it has acquired Halstead Insurance Agency of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Halstead will remain under the operational leadership of President Anthony P. Trapasso Jr. and Vice President Anthony P. Trapasso III, AssuredPartners said in a statement. It will be part of AssuredPartners’ Northeast Region, headed by Lauren Yurick.
The agency offers commercial insurance coverages, including general liability, property, and directors and officers liability.
Founded in 1966 by Robert L. Halstead Sr., it has about 20 employees.
AssuredPartners Inc. is the 11th largest broker of U.S business according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
