Ategrity promotes CUO to president, hires former Berkley unit CFO

Surplus lines insurer Ategrity Specialty Insurance Co. announced Wednesday it promoted Chris Schenk from chief underwriting officer to president and hired former W.R. Berkley unit chief financial officer Neelam Patel as CFO.

Mr. Schenk will continue in his role as CUO, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based insurer said in its announcement.

Ms. Patel will fill the role currently held by David Rosenzweig. She was most recently CFO at W.R. Berkley Corp.’s Wilmington, Delaware-based unit Berkley One and spent 18 years at Chubb Ltd.

The company did not respond to requests for comment.
