ATL appoints Álvaro Mier as joint COO and CFO to strengthen leadership team

ATL, a broker specialising in commercial (re)insurance solutions, has strengthened its leadership team by appointing Álvaro Mier as joint Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Mier brings over 15 years of experience in global financial services, having most recently held the dual roles of CFO and COO at Riddle&Code, an Austrian firm specialising in renewable energy, since 2016.
His career also includes time as an Associate at Óptima Corporate, an international investment bank, and he began his professional journey as an Analyst with the wealth management company Merrill Lynch.
He added: “I’m very excited to be joining the ATL team and to be able to support the firm as it continues to grow and evolve.
“Given my background across financial services I’m confident that I can bring new insights and knowledge that will help to shape the future success of the company.”
In his new position, Mier will drive the expansion of ATL’s global operations as the company broadens its reach and service offerings worldwide.
