Augment Risk appoints Swiss Re’s Jose Martinez as Associate Partner – Retrospective

Augment Risk, a global risk capital and reinsurance solutions broker, has announced the appointment of Jose Martinez as Associate Partner – Retrospective.

Martinez brings around two decades of re/insurance experience, with expertise in business administration, reinsurance claims, and accounting.

He joins Augment Risk from Swiss Re, where he worked for five years, most recently serving as Vice President Legacy Solutions.

Prior to that, he was Director of Umbrella Claims at Safety National. He also spent nearly a decade at CNA Insurance, where he most recently held the position of Director, Corporate Reinsurance Complex Claims, Facultative Premiums, and Claims. Earlier in his career, Martinez worked as an Account Manager at Aon.
