Aurenity, an excess and surplus lines managing general agent, announced Monday it appointed former Kemah Capital executive John Woie as executive vice president of its new property business.
Mr. Woie, based in New York, was most recently head of U.S. property at MGA Kemah. Before that, he held senior underwriting roles at Everest Re and Partner Re.
He will build a portfolio targeting mid-large market E&S property on primary and low excess layers for national clients with exclusive wholesale distribution.
