Axa taps former CNA exec for cyber position

Axa XL Tuesday named former CNA Financial Corp. executive Michelle Aliperti as head of small and midsize enterprises for cyber in the Americas.

Based in New York, she reports to Michelle Chia, chief underwriting officer, cyber, design and select professional, at Axa XL, a division of Axa SA.

Ms. Aliperti was most recently vice president at CNA where she managed the errors and omissions, cyber and media portfolio.

Axa XL last July formed a middle-market and wholesale cyber underwriting team.

Rachel Rossini leads the middle-market team and Deuayne Crawford leads the cyber wholesale underwriting team, with both reporting to Ms. Chia.
