Axa XL adds cyber teams for mid-size, wholesale cyber clients

Axa XL announced Thursday the creation of underwriting teams dedicated to middle-market and wholesale cyber clients.

Rachel Rossini was named head of the middle-market cyber and technology errors and omissions group. She previously was product manager for Axa XL’s cyber and technology E&O group. Based in Los Angeles, Ms. Rossini joined Axa XL in 2018 from Sompo.

New York-based Deuayne Crawford will lead the cyber wholesale underwriting team as the head of wholesale, cyber and technology E&O. He joined Axa XL in 2022 from Liberty Mutual Holding Co. Inc. unit Ironshore Indemnity Inc. 

Both will report to New York-based Michelle Chia, chief underwriting officer for Cyber in the Americas, who joined Axa XL in January.
