Axa XL adds former Beazley leader

Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, has named Chelsea Thorpe, formerly with Beazley PLC, as head of broker management, Marsh.

She succeeds and reports to June Dwyer, who was recently appointed head of broker relations, large commercial and middle market, an Axa XL spokeswoman confirmed Friday.

Philadelphia-based Ms. Thorpe previously was focus group leader-miscellaneous medical and life sciences, at Beazley. Prior to that, she was global broker director at American International Group Inc.
