Axa XL announces cyber promotions

Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, said Tuesday it has promoted Rachel Rossini to product manager for cyber and technology E&O, and Vern Suckerman to U.S. head of complex accounts.

Both are newly created roles.

Ms. Rossini, based in Los Angeles, will lead the marketing strategy in the U.S. cyber insurance market. She most recently served as cyber underwriting manager for Axa XL’s west zone and is a 2022 Business Insurance Break Out Award winner.

Based in Chicago, Mr. Suckerman will take the lead on underwriting accounts with complex cyber and E&O exposures. He was previously underwriting manager for the central zone.

Ms. Rossini and Mr. Suckerman will report to Jeremy Gittler, head of cyber insurance in the Americas.

Adam Jaffer, based in New York, has been named underwriting manager for the west zone, assuming the role previously held by Ms. Rossini. Mr. Jaffer rejoins Axa XL from insurtech Corvus Insurance Holdings Inc., where he was vice president, underwriting lead.

Greg Chambers has been promoted to underwriting manager for the central zone, the role previously held by Mr. Suckerman. Mr. Chambers was previously senior underwriter and is based in Chicago.
