Axa XL hires former Aspen exec for environmental post

Axa XL Tuesday named former Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. executive Peter Bakker head of environmental package solutions for middle market in the Americas.

He will lead the development of a combined form general liability and pollution liability product for the middle-market segment, the insurer said in a statement.

Mr. Bakker is based in New York and reports to Chris Fallon, head of middle market product and analytics, Axa XL, Americas.

He most recently was vice president and New York regional manager for Aspen’s environmental casualty combined form offering.
