Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, Wednesday named former consulting leader Lucy Pilko as CEO of its insurance operations for the Americas region.
She succeeds Joseph Tocco, who is retiring from the company.
Ms. Pilko, who is based in New York, most recently served as managing director and senior partner at Boston Consulting Group, where she led its North American insurance practice.
In the new role, she will lead Axa XL’s insurance operations in the U.S., Canada and Bermuda.
Mr. Tocco will remain as a special adviser through 2023, Axa XL said.
