AXA XL promotes Peter Ukstins to lead Construction Risk Engineering, Americas

AXA XL, the property & casualty (P&C) and specialty risk division of global insurer AXA, has announced the promotion of Peter Ukstins to lead its Construction Risk Engineering team in the Americas.

Donna Nadeau, Head of Large Commercial at AXA XL, stated, “Our Construction risk engineering capabilities are an essential asset for our clients in the construction industry.

Before his promotion, Ukstins served as Senior Construction Risk Engineer Consultant and Team Leader for AXA XL’s Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) risk engineering team. In this role, he led and mentored others to deliver excellent service, insights, and support to the firm’s internal and external partners.

Ukstins joined AXA XL in 2019 as a Construction Risk Engineering Consultant after nearly two decades at James G. Davis Construction (DAVIS), where he most recently held the role of Director of the Integrated Construction Group.
