Axa XL recruits former Chubb leader

Axa XL has appointed former Chubb Ltd. executive Charles Lee to head its global risk management business in the U.S. Southwest, the Axa SA unit said Tuesday.

Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Lee will manage underwriting operations in the region, the statement said.

Most recently, he was senior vice president, global client executive for Chubb and led the insurer’s global casualty Pacific South region in Los Angeles.

Axa XL’s global risk management insurance team provides primary insurance programs for US-based companies, including general liability, excess commercial auto, foreign voluntary workers compensation and employers liability.
