Axis executive named APIW Woman of the Year

The Association of Professional Insurance Women Inc. on Tuesday said Janet Jordan-Foster has been selected as the 2023 recipient of the APIW Insurance Woman of the Year Award.

Ms. Jordan-Foster will be honored May 11 in New York. She is executive vice president and head of primary casualty insurance at Axis Capital Holdings Ltd., a statement said.

Prior to joining Axis in 2007, Ms. Jordan-Foster spent more than 10 years at Zurich North America and her career spans more than 30 years in the industry, the statement said.

Founded in 1976, APIW is dedicated to the advancement of professional insurance women and to the recognition of their contributions to the industry, the statement said.
