Baldwin Group names Valerio as COO, Insurance Advisory Solutions

The Baldwin Group, an independent insurance distribution firm, has appointed Joe Valerio as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Insurance Advisory Solutions (IAS), the firm’s retail property and casualty and employee benefits brokerage business.

In his new role, Valerio will drive IAS’ operational excellence and vanguard client experience outcomes.

He will report to Dan Galbraith, President, The Baldwin Group and Chief Executive Officer, Retail Brokerage Operations.

Most recently, Valerio served as Division Leader, Western Division, for World Insurance Associates, LLC.

Prior to this, he was the COO for the CRB North America Industry Verticals Division at Willis Towers Watson.
