MSI, managing general agency for The Baldwin Insurance Group Inc., announced Thursday it launched a cyber insurance program dedicated to providing coverage for managed care organizations of all sizes.
The program is designed to reduce the risk of attacks by cybercriminals on highly sensitive data managed care organizations collect and manage. It offers limits of up to $25 million for primary and excess placements for privacy and cyber liability as well as technology errors and omissions and miscellaneous professional liability coverage, the Tampa, Florida-based MGA said in its announcement.
The policies also provide access to risk management and a breach response panel that includes forensic analysts, privacy and defense counsel and breach coaches, the announcement said.
Coverage is underwritten by Tim LeMarbe, senior vice president and cyber products leader at MSI, and Tammy Kocher, vice president and head of cyber underwriting at MSI, the MGA said.
