Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has announced the retirement of Jeff Polisenof following a distinguished 30-year career in aerospace broking and risk management.
As Poliseno steps down, Jared Ball will take on additional responsibility as global practice leader of space division.
Poliseno’s retirement comes after a distinguished 30-year career in aerospace broking and risk management, having been part of Aon’s global space since 2004.
In 2008, the executive took on the responsibilities of chief executive officer in August 2008. He was instrumental in establishing and building the firm’s space offering, solidifying its position as a trusted partner to clients in the aerospace sector.
Lee Meyrick, global industry specialty leader, transportation and logistics at Aon, said: “We are grateful for Jeff’s visionary leadership and want to thank him for his invaluable contribution and dedication to clients and colleagues over the years.”
Drawing upon his impressive two-decade-long track record of fostering solid client relationships and implementing innovative solutions, Jared Ball will assume the expanded role of global practice leader.
He was most recently chief technical officer of Aon’s global space team. Under his stewardship, the team will continue to deliver differentiated capabilities and strategic insights to aerospace clients.
Meyrick added: “Jared Ball’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and the future growth of our space practice. Jeff has been closely collaborating with Jared to ensure a seamless transition and continued support for the firm’s space clients and colleagues, so we are confident that under his guidance, the team will continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
