Berkley hires former Starr exec to lead new construction unit

W.R. Berkley Corp. said Thursday it has hired former Starr Insurance Co. executive Andy Robinson as president of its newly formed construction unit.

Berkley Construction Solutions will provide excess liability insurance for construction contractors, Greenwich, Connecticut-based W.R. Berkley said.

Mr. Robinson most recently served as senior vice president of primary and excess construction at Starr Insurance Cos. and has nearly 40 years of industry experience.
