Berkley names president, CEO of new E&S business

W.R. Berkley Corp. on Thursday named Curtis E. Fletcher president and CEO of Berkley E&S Solutions, a newly created excess and surplus lines business.

Berkley E&S Solutions will provide casualty coverages for middle-market and large accounts.

Mr. Fletcher, who is based in Seattle, last year was named chairman of Admiral Insurance Group, Berkley’s E&S lines unit, and prior to that served as its president. He has been with the company for 24 years.
