Berkley unit revamps architects and engineers coverage

Admiral Insurance said Wednesday it has relaunched its AdmiralPro Design product, a professional liability policy for architects and engineers.

Admiral, a Moorestown, New Jersey-based excess and surplus lines unit of W.R. Berkley, said it has expanded coverages and services available through the product, which offers $5 million in limits.

Exposures covered include drone liability, building information modeling integration, artificial intelligence-assisted design, cyber events, reputation protection expenses, emergency pollution response and rectification expenses, Admiral said.

“The relaunch of AdmiralPro Design demonstrates that we genuinely listen to our brokers’ feedback and market needs, making the necessary changes to our offerings,” said Ben Woodward, national underwriting vice president at Admiral, in a statement.
