Berkshire Hathaway Specialty names North America casualty head

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance said Thursday it has promoted Kathy Reid to head of casualty, North America.

The insurer said Ms. Reid, who had been a senior vice president at BHSI since 2013, continues to be based in Chicago. She replaces Meredith Bullock, who retired.

Last month, BHSI named Sanjay Godhwani and David Bresnahan to new executive leadership roles.
