Berkshire Hathaway Specialty promotes construction exec

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. said Wednesday it has promoted James Byrnes to head of construction professional for North America.

Mr. Byrnes was previously vice president, construction professional for the U.S. eastern region at the insurer, the company said.

He will continue to be based in New York.
