BHSI promotes Megan Howe to Head of Claims, Australasia

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a commercial property, casualty, and specialty insurer, has expanded Megan Howe’s role with her promotion to Head of Claims, Australasia.

In her new role, Howe will be based in Auckland and report to Mark and Dave Crowe, Chief Claims Officer, BHSI. Howe joined BHSI in 2015 as Head of Claims, New Zealand, and then eventually gained the responsibility of claims relating to the company’s global Program business in 2021.

She has served as a member of the Australasia leadership team since 2019. Prior to BHSI, she spent two decades as a lawyer, where she specialized in defense, coverage and regulatory work for insurers and professionals.
