Aiming to enhance construction safety, Oregon Occupational Safety and Health is offering a free training resource as part of its bilingual training program that helps English-speaking employers train and talk about workplace safety and health with Spanish-speaking workers, Oregon OSHA announced Tuesday.
The “Residential Construction Building Safety” program covers six stages of the residential construction process: site preparation, framing, roofing, exterior finishing, interior finishing and specialty work.
The program is part of the bilingual program called “PESO” and includes six hour-long training modules in a bilingual format to help employers train their employees.
