Blue Ocean Re appoints Sefani Busby-Thornhill as SVP & Account Executive

Managing general agent (MGA) platform Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group has announced the appointment of Sefani Busby-Thornhill as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Account Executive.

Busby-Thornhill brings more than 10 years of experience in alternative risk and reinsurance.

She joins Blue Ocean from North End Re, where she served as Manager, Reinsurance Operations in the Cayman Islands, spearheading the execution of operational strategies for the life and annuity reinsurance business.

Prior to that, Busby-Thornhill was a Senior Account Manager at Aon and an Assistant Audit Manager at KPMG in the Cayman Islands. She began her career at EY as an Audit Senior.
