Broker King makes Florida-based acquisition

King Insurance Agency Inc. Friday said it has acquired specialty broker Hunt Insurance Group LLC.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Tallahassee, Florida-based Hunt, founded in 1945, advises housing authorities, prison systems and municipalities and specializes in self-funded solutions for property/casualty and medical insurance, a King statement said.

The Hunt website shows nine employees, including Scott Hunt, president and CEO, and Executive Vice President John E. Hunt Jr.
