Broker Vantage names new CEO

Private-equity-owned brokerage Vantage Insurance Partners Inc. Wednesday named longtime broker executive Jack Butcher as CEO, replacing Alex Panlilio, who has left the company.

Mr. Butcher was president of specialty auto insurance brokerage Hagerty Inc. until April 2023. Previously, he was a managing director at Marsh LLC, holding various senior positions at the brokerage and its Marsh McLennan Agency unit.

New York-based Vantage Insurance was founded in 2020 by Mr. Panlilio and Lou Caltavuturo with backing from DFW Capital Partners Inc. and has made several acquisitions.

Mr. Caltavuturo left to join mergers and acquisition adviser Sica Fletcher LLC in 2022.
