Brown & Brown buys Minnesota agency

Brown & Brown Inc. announced Thursday that it has acquired The Canopy Group, a Le Sueur, Minnesota-based agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Canopy Group is a multiline agency that focuses primarily on commercial and property coverages for small businesses and personal lines, Daytona Beach, Florida-based Brown & Brown said.
