Brown & Brown COO Steve Hearn to lead all operations outside NA

Brown & Brown, an insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has announced that Steve Hearn, Chief Operating Officer (COO), will lead all operations outside of North America across both the Retail and Specialty Distribution segments.

Hearn brings 35 years of insurance industry experience. He joined Brown & Brown in August 2024 as Director and was appointed COO in February 2025.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Hearn served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Inver Re, Corant Global, Ed., Willis Re, and Sedgwick, among other senior roles.
