BRP unit buys Texas agency, program administrator

Acquisitive brokerage BRP Group has bought Dallas-based Arcana Insurance Services LP, an insurance agency and program administrator focused on real estate investors and property managers.

Terms of the deal, which was made through BRP unit Millennial Specialty Insurance LLC, were not disclosed.

Arcana reports annualized revenue of about $3.6 million, BRP said in a statement.

Tampa, Florida-based BRP is the 19th largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
