Burns & Wilcox announces opening of Boston office, hires executive

Specialty wholesaler Burns & Wilcox Ltd. Tuesday announced the opening of its Boston office and the hire of former Vault Holdings LLC executive Peter Kestenbaum as managing director.

Mr. Kestenbaum, most recently admitted & non-admitted territory underwriting leader – Northeast, for Vault, will report to Doug Legters, regional vice president, Northeast, a Burns & Wilcox statement said.

Burns & Wilcox President Danny Kaufman said in the statement the move continues the broker’s North American expansion into New England.

Burns & Wilcox is part of U.S. specialty brokerage and insurer H.W. Kaufman Group.
