Captive advisory company launches

Industry veteran Jesse Olsen has launched GuideFire, a captive advisory company based in Kansas City, Kansas.

GuideFire will provide captive advisory, management, development, formation and feasibility services initially to U.S.-domiciled captives, a company statement said Thursday.

Mr. Olsen, GuideFire’s president, was most recently chief operating officer of Helio Risk. Prior to that, he was a managing director on the consulting team at Strategic Risk Solutions. He started his career in the risk finance practice group at Lockton Cos. LLC.
