Carpe Data partners with EverPeak to streamline and accelerate underwriting

EverPeak Insurance has partnered with Carpe Data to integrate the Minerva platform, aiming to streamline and accelerate its underwriting process as it expands nationwide.

As a Managing General Agency, EverPeak Insurance connects businesses with insurance carriers to ensure they obtain the right workers’ compensation coverage.

The Minerva Suite will provide EverPeak with real-time access to a comprehensive database covering over 90% of insurable businesses nationwide. This will deliver immediate risk insights at the point of quoting, enable accurate NAICS codes, and accelerate underwriting decisions for their partners.

Vlad Stojanovic, COO of EverPeak Insurance, said, “As a Managing General Agency, our model thrives on swift, accurate risk assessment and pricing.”

Stojanovic added, “This partnership is key to our growth strategy, particularly with our ‘no-touch, bind-or-decline’ service. It effectively powers our approvals and denials, reducing manual intervention.”

Carpe Data’s Minerva platform uses advanced data analysis to transform workers’ compensation risk information into actionable insights, allowing EverPeak Insurance to make faster, more informed underwriting decisions for their partner carriers.

This streamlines the process, reducing turnaround times for coverage and helping EverPeak scale more rapidly. As a result, underwriters can focus on reviewing exceptions instead of evaluating every policy application.

Max Drucker, CEO of Carpe Data, stated, “Part of our mission is to accelerate small business underwriting by providing powerful tools to underwriters to make their work easier.”

He continued, “We’re thrilled to partner with EverPeak Insurance and empower them to strengthen their underwriting capabilities without adding strain on their employees. This will allow them to achieve their goals and continue offering best-in-class workers’ compensation insurance.”
