CFC hires from Resilience Cyber

London-based specialist insurer CFC Underwriting Ltd. said Thursday it has hired former Resilience Cyber Insurance Solutions LLC executive Michael Phillips as cyber practice leader for the U.S., based in New York.

Mr. Phillips will drive CFC’s cyber underwriting strategy and broker development in the U.S. in the newly created role.

Mr. Phillips most recently served as chief claims officer at Resilience and prior to that was head of cyber, media and technology claims for North America at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.
