CFC welcomes Wrana to its European corporate cyber team

Specialist insurance provider CFC has announced the appointment of Dennis Wrana as Corporate Tech & Cyber Underwriting Manager – EMEA

Wrana, who has close to a decade of industry experience, will be based in Barcelona and working alongside EMEA team leader, Ilaria Salvato.

Prior to joining CFC, the executive spent almost four years at Finlex GmbH where he most recently headed up cyber product and placement strategy.

Wrana has also previously held cyber underwriting roles at Tokio Marine in Barcelona and CNA Hardy in Cologne.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Prendergast, CFC’s Corporate Cyber Practice Leader, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Dennis to our European based corporate cyber team. His skills and expertise add further depth and strength, in particular to our German speaking broker partners and clients.

“His appointment demonstrates our commitment to building a service proposition across continental Europe to better support our partners with local market knowledge and deliver the solutions their clients need in the face of increasing cyber threats to their businesses.”

In 2024, CFC broadened its European presence by opening new offices in Madrid, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.

These hubs will primarily focus on providing corporate cyber and transaction liability solutions to brokers throughout Europe.
