MNK Group Holdings, a global independent insurance and reinsurance conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Chaitali Roy as Group Executive Managing Director – Risk and Regulation.
She will also join the Group Executive Board and report directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
In her new position, Roy will be responsible for leading MNK’s worldwide risk and regulatory initiatives. This includes spearheading enterprise-wide governance, enhancing interactions with international regulatory bodies, and ensuring that the risk strategy supports the Group’s significant expansion plans across the UK, EU, Middle East, Asia, and other crucial territories.
The executive brings over two decades of experience spanning audit, risk, and regulation, having most recently served as a Risk Partner at EY advising boards of top-tier insurers on risk and regulatory transformation and strategic governance.
Throughout her career, she has also held leadership roles at KPMG, and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) – Bank of England, where she represented the UK on global risk and regulatory platforms.
Roy commented: “MNK’s global ambitions require risk and regulation to act as enablers of growth and not barriers to it. I look forward to embedding governance and robust risk management as a strategic asset and helping the Group scale with resilience, integrity, and purpose.”
Manoj Kumar, Chairman of MNK Group, added: “Chaitali joins us at a defining moment in our journey. Her cross-sector expertise and global regulatory insight are invaluable as we build a future-ready, risk-aligned platform. We are thrilled to welcome her to our leadership team.”
