Chubb executive expands role to international

Chubb Ltd. Thursday said that Matt Merna, who oversees Chubb’s retail commercial property and casualty insurance businesses for large accounts in the U.S. and Canada, will expand his activities to an international role.

In addition to continuing to lead North America’s major accounts division, Mr. Merna will assist Chubb’s overseas teams in the design, structure and implementation of coverage for large, complex multinational corporations, Chubb said in a statement.

Mr. Merna joined Chubb in 2000 and has held various roles including executive vice president, Chubb global casualty and chief operating officer for North America major accounts.
